Main Functions of CDA (Funds)
A. Admission of Government employees to GPF Scheme and Allotment of Fund A/C Numbers to them (past cases: appointed before 1.1.2004) and transfer in cases.
B. Maintenance of Nomination records of GP Fund subscribers.
C. Final Settlement of Fund Accounts on Retirement, Death, Resignation etc.
D. Payment Relating to Final Withdrawals in r/o subscribers retiring within 24 months.
E. Transfer of Fund Accounts.
F. Issue of GPF Annual Fund Statements
G. Accounts section for Macro level accounting like Reconciliation of Printed Compilation with posted actuals, generation of review of balances, accounting of transactions out of Government Account with RBI.
H. Management of voluminous Historical Records used as reference documents for settlement of GPF claims .
